Workshops
Workshops
GMT workshops are hands-on, skill-building sessions designed to prepare students for clinical, academic, and real-world success in healthcare. Open to members and non-members alike, these events cover a wide range of topics—from taking vital signs and suturing basics to medical Spanish, patient interaction, MCAT prep and personal statement help. Led by experienced officers, guest professionals, or medical student mentors, each workshop offers practical experience in a low cost, low-pressure environment. Whether you're a freshman just getting started or a senior preparing for clinicals and med school, our workshops are here to help you grow in confidence, competence, and connection.
Upon successful completion of our Clinical Skills Series, students will receive an official Certificate of Completion recognizing their dedication to pre-health preparation and service. Those who complete the full series also qualify for a graduation cord, honoring their commitment to skill development, community engagement, and leadership in healthcare. These recognitions not only celebrate your involvement with GMT—they also give you a competitive edge in medical school applications, resumes, and future clinical opportunities.
