Sai Murupadi
Sai Marupudi is a sophomore majoring in Biology and psychology on the pre-med track, excited to serve as GMT’s Secretary. He’s passionate about helping others discover the value of service and aims to build a team of volunteers who are just as driven to make a difference as they are to grow personally.
Through GMT, Sai has found a space where service meets self-discovery. During his Spring 2025 trip to Peru, he worked aside Peruvian doctors and translators, helping break down language barriers and provide basic medical care to underserved communities. From assisting with physical exams to bonding with locals between clinics, the trip strengthened his passion for medicine and reaffirmed his dream of becoming a cardiologist.
Outside of GMT, Sai is actively gaining hands-on experience in healthcare. He’s interning at Medical city, conducting research in cancer and genetic engineering with Baylor Scott & White, UT Austin and UT Dallas, volunteering at local food banks, and training in medical scribing and EMT skills. He’s also a dedicated tutor through ENGin-teaching Ukrainians English and runs multiple 7 figure e-commerce businesses, combining his interest in medicine with a growing passion for entrepreneurship. In his free time, Sai enjoys talking to people, cooking and exploring unique locations.
