Madeleine Morton
Madeleine is a junior majoring in biological chemistry with a minor in medical humanities and bioethics on the pre-med track. She is excited to serve as GMT’s Fundraising Coordinator and is looking forward to the upcoming events during the 25-26 year, especially the medical trip over spring break. Madeleine traveled with GMT on the Peru 2025 trip and had the best time embracing every opportunity that was offered. One of her favorite memories during the trip was meeting the children during clinicals and playing with them on the local playground.
Madeleine is also an active member of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) on campus. Off campus, she works as a caregiver, assisting her clients with activities of daily living and monitoring their health over time. She also volunteers with various organizations, including the Red Cross and Freedom Hospice. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys photography, going to concerts, rock climbing, hiking, traveling, and cooking. One goal of hers is to visit and hike in all 63 national parks, hoping to fill her national park passport with many stamps.
Fun fact: Madeleine broke her collarbone when trying to kick a soccer ball and had to go to soccer practice right after because her parents didn’t think she actually broke it.
