Kiran Kuruguntla

Kiran Kuruguntla is a sophomore majoring in Biology and is on the pre-med track. Kiran is happy with being GMT’s Volunteer Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. He is excited to inspire as many people as he can to come volunteer so that they can learn more about themselves and the impact that they can make. He likes being a member of GMT as it has helped him develop more as an individual. On his Spring 2025 Peru trip, he had various experiences, ranging from hitting imaginary step-back threes to doing the physical examinations of tens of people. Kiran worked effectively with Peruvian doctors and translators, closing the language barrier and providing fundamental medical insight that helped improve the patients’ quality of life.

In addition to being a member of GMT, Kiran is also a part of Student Government and is training to be skilled in being an EMT, Medical Scribe, and a Hospital Volunteer.

Outside of college, he enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing any sport other than tennis, volleyball, or golf. One of his personal goals is to get back into playing soccer after leaving his city team in 2024. Kiran is excited to work as the Volunteer Coordinator and hopes to gather a dedicated group of volunteers who are determined to provide excellent service.
